How this generator works

Passwords are generated using crypto.getRandomValues, the Web Crypto API's cryptographically secure random number source, not Math.random, which is not safe for security-sensitive values. Nothing is transmitted or stored anywhere.

How to use Password Generator

  1. Set target password length using the slider or input field.
  2. Select character types: uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special symbols.
  3. Optionally exclude ambiguous characters (such as 1, l, I, 0, O).
  4. Click Generate Password and copy the secret password.

FAQ

Are passwords saved or logged by Innealan?

No. Passwords are generated locally in your browser memory and never stored or transmitted.

Why exclude ambiguous characters?

Excluding visually similar characters like 'l' and '1' prevents typing errors when reading passwords visually.
